Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Jill Tucker, our only November birthday! Jill celebrated her big day on November 14th and we hope that it was a great one. Jill attended Troy University where she joined the Delta Delta Chapter of KD. She went on to earn her Masters in Communications Art from New York Institute of Technology.

Holiday Party Reminder

We would like to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving. We wish everyone smooth travels and a great meal on this holiday.

Holiday Party

Join us for our holiday party on December 1st from 7:00 - 10:00pm. The party will be held at Beth Knott's house at 1289 Fairhill Ln. Atlanta, GA 30319. Please RSVP through our Facebook page. We will provide snacks, but ask that everyone brink a drink of her choice! Also, we are collecting small Christmas gifts to donate to the children at Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children. Please remember that these children are homeless and all gifts should be able to fit in a backpack.

Atlanta Night Koozies

Atlanta Night has koozies for sale! The koozies are $5.00 each and the money goes to help support the West Georgia chapter and our Shamrock project. Koozies can be picked up at any of our events or you can contact Beth Knott at eknot5@aol.com. These would make a perfect stocking stuffer for other Kappa Delta ladies!

Join us Thursday November 18th at Red Brick Brewery starting at 5pm. There will be tours, tasting and trivia! Team trivia starts at 6pm, but feel free to pop in at any time.

Where does the money go?

Have you ever wondered what your Alumnae Association dues pay for? Your membership dues are used for a variety of purposes including recruiting new members, sending an officer to National Convention, our local Alumnae Panhellenic Association and to support National Kappa Delta.

The following is a breakdown of how one individual's dues are used to support the chapter:
•Sending an officer to National Convention - $11.50
•Alumnae Panhellenic Dues - $5.00
•National Kappa Delta Dues - $5.00
•Atlanta Night Administrative Expenses (mailbox, printing, checks, etc.) - $7.00
•Recruitment - $7.00
•Shamrock (Supplies and Risk Management Fee) - $3.00

The total membership cost to Atlanta Night for one member is $38.50. As many of you know we charge $40.00 for returning membership which helps offest the $30.00 charge for new members. If you have any questions about our finances or want to join please contact Beth Knott at eknot5@aol.com.

Tuesday Night Dinner

Don't forget to join us at Nakato Tuesday, November 9th for dinner at 7pm. Nakato is known for their great food including fresh sushi and hibachi grill meals. RSVP for the dinner through our Facebook group or by emailing Beth Knott at eknot@aol.com.
